Job Title:
Project Manager
Job Description:
As a Project Manager, you will help coordinate and
manage a team of engineers in the creation and implementation of software
applications for industrial automation systems. Your position as Project
Manager will involve both administrative and technical tasks, and requires
excellent time management and communication skills. You will be the main point
of contact for the customer during each project that you manage.
Serra Systems serves customers in a wide range of industries ranging from wineries to
semiconductor OEMs. Applications are diverse and include many aspects of
industrial automation including manufacturing and distribution systems with an
emphasis on real-time data transactions and database collection. You will be
expected to be technically knowledgeable in Siemens automation systems,
Wonderware software and a variety of other products.
This is an excellent situation for a motivated individual to make a
significant contribution to and grow with an emerging company. Your thorough
understanding of computer systems and software, your ability to learn quickly,
and your ability to implement solutions quickly will be tested at Serra
Systems.

Job Requirements:

Job Responsibilities:
| All aspects of Project Management, including but not limited to engineer
resource scheduling, customer status reports, and overall project success. |
| Development of detailed functional specifications prior to software
implementation. |
| Development of software for a wide variety of applications including HMI,
Database, and PLCs. |
| Integration of hardware, software, and communications systems into
reliable, robust systems. |
| Real-time software and systems debugging, on a variety of hardware,
including communication networks. |
| Clear and complete operation and system design documentation. |
| Customer support for installed systems. |
Major:
Electrical Engineering or
Computer Science preferred.
Degree Level: Bachelor's
degree preferred.
